Special Game: Armed Forces Discount for Belfast Giants Match!
Tickets for Storm’s upcoming game against Nottingham Panthers can be ordered online HERE, or by calling the box office on 0161 926 8782, or in person at the box office.
Your Go Goodwins sponsored Manchester Storm are joining forces with the Royal British Legion to honour the First World War generation, 100 years after the end of the Great War.
The Royal British Legion is leading the nation in saying ‘Thank You’ to the First World War generation who served, sacrificed and changed our world.
As part of the commemorations, there will be special £10 tickets for current and ex-servicemen and women, and all Royal British Legion members, attending the event against visitors, Belfast Giants on Saturday October 27.
Fans are advised to arrive early for the match, as there will be a special commemorative ceremony before the game to pay tribute to those who served, and also to mark the start of this year’s Poppy Appeal.
Special guests and dignitaries will join the players on the ice to lay wreaths in memory of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and a bugler will play the Last Post at the Silver Blades Ice Rink in Altrincham.
Alongside the ceremony and throughout the game, fans will see the Storm representing the Royal British Legion, wearing special armed forces jerseys. These game worn, one of a kind jerseys will be available to be purchased by fans online in a silent auction, with a portion of the funds going to the Royal British Legion charity. The jersey design and auction details are to be announced.
If you are a current or ex-member of the armed forces or a member of the RBL, you will be asked for valid ID on arrival at the Planet Ice Altrincham with your ticket.
