Weekend Recap: Storm Close Out Strong In Cardiff

A rollercoaster weekend for the Manchester Storm saw us battle through back-to-back games, but we finished on a high note with a huge win on the road. With the playoff race heating up, every game matters, and we need to keep this momentum rolling.

Friday: Manchester Storm vs Dundee Stars

Back on home ice, the Storm kicked off the weekend against the Dundee Stars in a high-energy clash at the Shelter. Zach Sullivan led the charge with two goals, while Cam Critchlow also found the back of the net on an impressive short-handed effort. But despite a strong start, Dundee clawed their way back in the third period to steal a 4-3 win. A frustrating result, but the effort was there from the boys.

Saturday: Cardiff Devils vs Manchester Storm

Less than 24 hours later, the Storm bounced back in a big way, securing a huge 5-3 win over the Cardiff Devils on the road. Alexis D’Aoust had a standout night, scoring a key goal and adding a helper, while David Tendeck was a rock between the pipes with 37 saves to backstop the win. A massive two points in the playoff push, and a performance that showed the fight in this team.

All Eyes on Glasgow

The playoff race is tightening up, and we’ve got another big test coming up on Wednesday night as we head to Glasgow to take on the Clan. With so much at stake, the team need to dig deep and bring home another crucial win.
