Manchester Storm face visitors, Sheffield Steelers this Wednesday in what will be a highly contested game. Last Wednesday the Storm travelled over to Sheffield for the first leg of the Challenge Cup QF in hopes of a road win. The final result was 5-2 to the Steelers, Simmonds claiming both the Storm goals.

The Storm look to make a comeback this Wednesday. The last few games between both sides have been very competitive, with Storm getting six wins in a row on home ice.

It has been extremely competitive so far between both sides – the Storm outscoring Steelers 15-7 in both Challenge Cup and EIHL clashes so far this season.

Coach Finnerty commented: “The team is buzzing from Sunday’s result. We will be short a couple players but our resilience will come through. If I’m honest, we really need our fan support. This young team really deserves to see the impact of a packed shelter and we feel we have the chance to comeback in this important game.”

From Wednesday 18th December, the Manchester Storm Official Supporters Club will be selling a range of Manchester Storm Trading Cards.

You can find the OSC desk located under block 113 in the rink, where you can also secure own and loans, sponsorship deals on your favourite players kit and more!

These cards have been created by partners, Blindside Trading Cards. They’re here just in time for Christmas, and are the perfect gift for Storm fans and collectors.

The cards are priced at £7 per pack and there are two packs to collect (10 player cards per pack.) All proceeds from the packs purchased go directly to the club.
