Manchester Storm are delighted to announce the return of forward Scott Simmonds for the 2022-23 campaign. 

The dogged forechecking forward has made quite the impression with the Elite League during his 102 appearances – amassing 59 points (22G 37A) and earning the reputation of one of the best two-way forwards within the league. 

A consistent player with boundless potential, Simmonds has become a fan favourite within the Shelter and a coveted commodity within the division. 

Head Coach, Matt Ginn, had this to say about retaining Scott for another year:

“Scott is an exciting and versatile player – he is able and comfortable playing up and down the line-up on any given night. Having played with him throughout the entirety of his pro career, it is amazing to have witnessed his overall development and his offensive output has continually improved, as he has become accustomed to the professional game. 

He is a huge part of our dressing room, line-up and franchise. I am absolutely thrilled to have fought off the stiff competition for his signature.“
