WEEKEND PREVIEW: Storm host double header games!

We face Cardiff Devils and Nottingham Panthers this weekend in back-to-back EIHL action in the Storm Shelter. Get tickets here, or by calling the Box Office on 0161 926 8782. Face-off is at 19:00 this Saturday against Devils and 17:30 on Sunday against Panthers.

Your Goodwin Group Manchester Storm look for a four point weekend, as they play the second half of their four-game week on home ice. 

The Storm had back-to-back games with Guildford Flames earlier this week, and picked up a total of three points. Our New Year’s Day game saw a 4-3 loss in overtime, with the boys bouncing back the following evening in Guildford, winning 2-1.

The club are also pleased to announce the trial of Bring a Buddy Scheme this Sunday for the game against the Nottingham Panthers.

Cardiff Devils visit the Storm Shelter for the second time this season. Cardiff currently sit at 2nd place in the EIHL table, but will be looking to bounce back after a 5-0 loss at home to Coventry Blaze on New Year’s Day.

The two teams have faced each other twice already this season, and the Storm look to take some crucial points on home ice this weekend.

SATURDAY SKATE

Enjoy the first free postgame skate of the year this Saturday. It’s free if you have your own skates and only £2.50 from the Skate Hire booth.

SHIRT RAFFLE

This Saturday you can win defenceman John Negrin’s Winter Classic jersey (#13) when you enter our weekly jersey raffle. Tickets are just £1.

Also up for grabs is Henrik Samuelsson’s Alternate jersey for just £1 a strip.

Manchester Storm v Nottingham Panthers – Sunday 5th January – Planet Ice Altrincham –  F/O 17:30 (doors open 16:30)

The last EIHL game at home against Nottingham Panthers was closely matched, with Panthers sealing the win 5-4 in the final five minutes. Storm scorers: Gagnon, Puskarich, Hope and Hughesman. 

BRING A BUDDY SCHEME

This Sunday against visitors Nottingham Panthers, season ticket holders have the chance to bring not just one friend, but two for just £5 per person! The club has decided to trial the ‘Bring a Buddy’ scheme for the first time this season, so don’t miss out!
