Hi Storm fans,

Now that we have our first few games out of the way, I just wanted to touch base with you all. What a start to the season we are having, with two wins from two league games, we sit joint top of the table… and we don’t plan on going anywhere just yet.

As the league gets tougher and grows season upon season, it is never going to be easy, but we have a special group of guys this year that deserve your support. I’d like to thank each and every one of you for your support so far this season, it means a lot to the club and most of all, the players.

We have some tough games coming up over the next few weeks, so this is a rallying call to each and every one of you. This Saturday we take on Nottingham Panthers in the Challenge Cup, Nottingham might have a big budget, but we certainly won’t be making it easy for them in our barn.

I ask you to bring somebody new to the Storm Shelter this Saturday and get behind the guys and make as much noise as possible, it gives the guys that extra push. If each one of you brought just 1 new person to the Shelter and introduced them to this sport, we would have a packed barn and there is nothing better than that on a Saturday night!

Planet Ice have informed me today that Nottingham have already secured over 200 seats for Saturdays game… so we need to make sure we are louder as soon as our guys hit the ice.

So remember Storm fans, grab a friend, family member or work colleague and let’s pack the shelter and create a fortress like atmosphere this Saturday night.
