TICKETS: The Go Goodwin’s Manchester Storm are back in action this Saturday 5th November, as we take on the Nottingham Panthers here at the Storm Shelter. Face off is at 7pm and tickets can be ordered online or by calling the box office on 0161 926 8782, or in person at the box office.

We spoke to Storm’s very own Marketing Manager, Hannah Fitzsimmons, and asked her to answer a few questions about working for the Storm!

Who are you & what do you do?

Hannah Fitzsimmons, Marketing Manager.

What was the first thought that went through your head when you heard the Storm were back?

Oh wow! Felt very nostalgic. Having watched Storm at the arena back in the 90’s, I was excited that elite league hockey was coming back to Manchester!

What’s the best thing about working with the Manchester Storm?

Its fun! Every day is different and the days fly by! I get to work alongside hard working and driven people and it motivates me to do the same. We also have the best fans who make game night amazing!

What advice could you give to anyone aiming to become a Marketing Manager?

My advice would be work hard and anything is possible! I started working in the box office for Silver Blades 6 years ago and worked my way up to Marketing manager for the rink, so when the Storm were back I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of.

I was very fortunate that the management could see my potential and gave me the support to further my career.

What’s the funniest thing to have happened since starting with the Storm?

No event comes to mind, but every day is full of laughs!
