MANCHESTER STORM VS GUILDFORD FLAMES – PLAYOFF QUARTER FINAL – SATURDAY 13TH APRIL 2024 @ 19:00 – PLANET ICE ALTRINCHAM
Manchester Storm are back Saturday 13th April 2024 taking on Guildford Flames in #Playoff Quarter Final action! It all comes down to this – Doors open 6PM for a 7PM start.
Following a fourth placed league finish for Head Coach Matt Ginn and his men, sights are now locked on defeating Guildford Flames in QF action and punching their ticket to the coveted #Playoff Finals weekend in Nottingham for the first time since reformation in 2015. This is a huge opportunity for the organisation and if you’re an old fan or a new fan, this Saturday evening we need YOU as we look to create history together.
Following back to back sold out crowds over the last two weekends, we’re on track for a THIRD sell out in a row, so please book in advance where possible.
This is our final game at home this season and with less than 500 tickets remaining, we’re on track for another sold out Storm Shelter – don’t miss it!

PLAYOFFS 2024: The eight qualifying teams are seeded from 1 to 8 for the quarter-finals. As the fourth seed, Storm were drawn to play the team finishing fifth – Guildford Flames. The quarter-finals are played over two legs (home and away) with the winner having the highest aggregate score. If the scores are level after 120 minutes, teams will play five minutes of 3-on-3 overtime followed by a shootout. The four winning teams qualify for finals weekend.
In addition to our own quarter-final, league champions Sheffield Steelers will take on the Fife Flyers, Cardiff Devils play the Dundee Stars, and Belfast Giants match up against the Coventry Blaze.
