Loren Ulett, born September 8th, 1994, in Port Perry, Ontario, is a Canadian professional ice hockey player known for his physical player and leadership. Standing at 6’0” and weighing in at 209lbs, Ulett is versatile both in the centre and left wing positions, and he shoots left. 

A key figure for the Kansas City Mavericks in the ECHL, where he served as an alternate captain, Ulett was loaned to the AHL’s Ontario Reign during the 2021-22 season. This loan gave him the opportunity to play at a higher level, showcasing his abilities in a more competitive environment, and furthering his development as a professional player. His contributions during this period providing energy, physicality, and depth to the Reign’s roster.

In the 2023-24 season, Ulett took his talents to the UK, signing with the Everitt Construction Manchester Storm in the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL). His career reflects a dedication to hard work, grit and leadership, making him a valuable asset on every team he has been a part of. 

Off the ice, Ulett enjoys golfing and has made many close friendships during his time in Manchester, which played a significant role in his decision to return for another season. He appreciates the vibrant food scene and many activities available in Manchester and Altrincham. Looking ahead to the 2024-25 season, Ulett is focused on increasing his offensive production while continuing to provide the physical edge that has become his trademark.

As Ulett continues both on and off the ice, his role in the team’s success will be crucial as the Manchester Storm aims to build on last season’s achievements.
