Jake Durflinger, born on October 6, 1997, in Walnut Creek, California, is an American professional ice hockey forward. Standing at 5’9″ and weighing 174 lbs, Durflinger primarily plays as a right winger and centre, known for his tenacity and physical play. He began his youth career with the San Jose Jr. Sharks and later played collegiate hockey for the Univeristy of Denver in the NCAA.

Durflinger most recently played for the Iowa Heartlanders in the ECHL during the 2023-24 season, where he continued to showcase his aggressive syle of play. In 2024, he signed with the Everitt Construction Manchester Storm in the Elite Ice Hockey League to continue his professional career in Europe. His career path reflects a player who combines grit with skill, contributing to his teams both offensively and defensively.

Durflinger’s head-nosed style has made him a versatile asset across the ECHL and now in the EIHL. He continues to be a fan favourite for his commitment on the ice and his ability to play a physical game.
