American forward Will Merchant has informed the club of his wishes to return home and to finish his career in front of friends and family.

Whilst we are of course disappointed, we understand and respect his wishes.

We want to thank Will for his time and efforts here in Manchester and wish him the best back home.

The club are now active in finding a replacement.

Following injury to starting netminder Evan Weninger, the club has agreed terms with an emergency goalie but due to the Christmas timing have been held up securing his work permit and ITC transfer. We hope to have both resolved as soon as possible.
