After a thrilling opening fixture of the #2021EliteSeries, the Storm face Coventry Blaze once more in Elite Series action this Friday for a 19:00 faceoff time! With Manchester currently sitting joint leaders with Sheffield, the club will be looking to make a statement with another win over Coventry and to create a two-point gap at the head of the table.

The last time Storm met with Blaze was for the Easter weekend season opener on April 3rd. Both teams claimed a point each after the fixture went into sudden death overtime, with Storm taking the big win via a shot from #9 Ben Lake in overtime. 

Sheffield Steelers beat Coventry Blaze 7-2 on Wednesday 7th April, claiming the top spot on the Elite Series table. The Storm look to reclaim the top positio during this weekend’s games. 

Blaze favourite, Luke Ferrara returned to the UK earlier this week after his team, Cracovia Krakow were knocked out of the playoffs.

Stats 

Manchester Storm forward, Ciaran Long currently sits at the top of the EIHL goals leaderboard, having scored four goals in the last three games. 

Meanwhile, Storm goalie, Sean Bonar currently sits at the top of the netminders table. 

Scott Simmonds and Cameron Critchlow are in the top five when it comes to assists, with three assists each.
