Let’s pack the Storm Shelter THIS Friday for what will be the final home game of the regular 2024/25 season against Guildford Flames.

Doors open at 18:30PM for a 19:30PM faceoff (18:15PM for season ticket holders).

It’s playoff push time and this fixture is almost sold out, with only single seats and limited standing tickets available.

We want to hear you loud and proud, making some noise for your Captain, Cam Critchlow as he takes to the ice. A week ago the club announced his retirement from professional hockey. Cam has been an instrumental part of Manchester Storm since 2019 and we’re sure you will all wish him the very best in his future endeavours. Read more information here.

EIHL Standings

The visitors, Guildford Flames are currently in 6th place in the league with 57 points, just three points behind Coventry Blaze. Storm sit just two points behind current 8th placed Dundee Stars and are chasing a playoff spot in the final two fixtures.These final fixtures are crucial for Storm, who head to Kirkcaldy on Saturday 5th April to face Fife Flyers in the final game of the regular season. The decider for the league title also falls this weekend, with Belfast Giants in the lead, followed closely by Sheffield Steelers and Nottingham Panthers.

 

LAST TIME OUT

Following heartfelt tributes to Mike Hammond and Pops on Retro Night, it was a game to remember when Storm beat Cardiff Devils 6-0 and collected two points at home. It was a special moment for British player Zack Milton, who scored his first professional goal on the night.

Despite a 5-2 loss to Nottingham on the road on Wednesday 26th March , Storm claimed a road win on Sunday 30th March in Belfast, the final result 1-5. This win was paramount in the push to playoffs, with Storm now sitting just two points behind Dundee Stars in the EIHL table. Read the EIHL’s match report.
