Following an exciting set of preseason fixtures, the club launches their 2024/25 Challenge Cup campaign today against visitors, Guildford Flames.

Preseason fixtures saw the likes of new visiting teams, Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, and Lausitzer Füchse plus EIHL regulars, Sheffield Steelers and Nottingham Panthers. The series was a success, with three wins out of four.

Manchester Storm acquired three of last season’s Flames players during the offseason. Ryan Hughes, Zack Milton, and Owen Griffiths face their previous in back-to-back games this weekend. The team then travel to Guildford on Sunday 8th for a face-off time of 18:00.

This season the Storm will battle against five teams for the Challenge Cup Title. Read more about the EIHL’s newest cup format here.
