TICKETS: The Go Goodwin’s Manchester Storm are back in ELITE LEAGUE ACTION this Saturday 24th September vs the Braehead Clan at 7pm F/O! Tickets can be ordered online or by calling the box office on 0161 926 8782, or in person at the box office.

The first period saw your Go Goodwins Manchester Storm race into the lead when Cody Cartier put the Storm 1-0 up less than 3 and a half minutes into the game. The Storm continued to press hard for another goal and it duly arrived as Mario Trabucco grabbed the second of the night, with just under 3 minutes from the end of the opening period.

The second period saw the Storm continue to dominate the play, with the home side adding a third goal to the tally thanks to Jack Prince grabbing his 1st professional goal before the halfway mark. Tension began to rise, and the Storm continued to push hard, however a freak bounce led to a Blaze break that resulted in Bjorn Bombis grabbing one for the visitors late in the period.

The third saw the play move end to end, with tensions building and penalties mounting for both sides. However, despite the continued Blaze attack, the Storm were able to hold their own, and seal the W and a further 2 points in the Challenge Cup campaign!

The Storm now look ahead to NEXT Saturday (24th Sept) when we welcome the Braehead Clan to the Storm Shelter for what promises to be another enthralling encounter! Face-Off is 7pm.
