Manchester Storm are delighted to confirm the return of British forward Connor Lee. 

The first of hopefully many Storm youth academy products, Lee made a fantastic impression on the ice in his rookie campaign – with his eye-catching speed a standout attribute within his game. 

Aged just 16, Lee represented the franchise on 39 occasions last season and secured his first professional points in the process. Furthermore, with a continued understanding of his development needs and requirement for consistent ice-time opportunities, the young British skater appeared in the NIHL for Telford Tigers, amassing 3 goals and 5 assists in 17 matches. 

Lee has also gone on to represent Team GB at both the U18 and U20 levels during the course of the 2023-24 season. The international service proved fruitful for Lee, who won a bronze medal for the U20s and silver with the U18s. 

The 2024-25 season will be Lee’s second of a three-year deal signed in August 2023. 

The future young star had this to say on his return; “I felt like last year was a great year with lots of opportunity to learn from some really experienced players and develop in my first year as a pro. I can’t wait to see what this next season will bring. See you in August!“
