With many new fans joining us inside the ‘Storm Shelter‘ over the last 18 months, we’ve made strides to make the experience as enjoyable as possible not only from a match night perspective, but also by introducing the ‘Beginners Guide To Manchester Storm‘ to try and cover the basics of the club, league and the rules so all can feel part of the club from day one.

Here we’re going to explain in a little more detail the ’50/50′ match night raffle!

If you’ve experienced a fixture inside the ‘Storm Shelter’, you’ll likely have heard our ’50/50′ sellers making their way around the rink before and during the game – they’re certainly loud and passionate!

One of the key reasons our ticket sellers are so passionate, is that they know how importance of the ’50/50′ raffle is alongside our match night jersey raffle and the income generated by our supporters club ‘Storm Support‘.

In a nutshell, 50% of funds raised from our ’50/50′ raffle go to the lucky winner on the night and the remaining 50% goes to help the running of the club. For instance, if 2000 ’50/50′ tickets sell, the prize pool is £1,000 to the lucky winner, the remaining £1,000 goes back to the day to day running of the club. 

As we continue to grow the club, this season, we’d love to see some record ’50/50′ raffles and see lucky fans walk away with a big prize pool! Look out for our match night ’50/50′ raffle sellers, or head to the ‘Storm Support’ desk located on ground level under Block 113.
