Last weekend our number 9, Tyler Hinam achieved a special milestone, scoring 20 goals in a single season. The big goal came early in the second period, as the danger man tipped in a floating puck from the hashmarks to give the Storm the first goal of the game.

The Storm however, barely had the time to celebrate the milestone before he had scored again, scoring into an empty cage to put the Coventry Blaze to bed.

Tyler had this to say on his achievement; “It’s always nice to hit milestones like that, but I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the work of my line-mates throughout the season and also the opportunities I’ve been given by the coaching staff, so a big thanks to them”

The Storm Shelter was buzzin’ for their top goal scorer, who seems to be scoring for fun of late. What’s more, with his breakaway goal in Glasgow on Saturday night, Hinam’s hot streak extends to 22 goals on the season, heading into this weekend’s double header against the Blaze, where many would tip him to score again.
