Due to a last-minute request by the Hull Pirates for Ashley Smith to play for them this weekend, and with Declan Ryan playing for the Altrincham Aces, your Go Goodwins Manchester Storm will have local lad, Luke Wilson-Owen, as backup netminder for them this evening.

Luke, who works for Planet Ice Altrincham, is a member of the Blackburn Hawks and currently plays for their NIHL2 team, but many Storm fans will have seen him play for the “Bees” in the #ForManchester charity game held over the summer. Luke has been training with the Storm as an emergency keeper over the last month, so will fit right in place.
