Your Go Goodwins Manchester Storm are delighted to welcome Canadian, Nate Fleming, to the club for the 2017/18 season.

The 28-year-old native of Alberta, Canada, who can play both as a defenceman and a centre, joins the Storm following a career which has seen him play for the University of British Columbia, and fellow EIHL team, the Edinburgh Capitals. The Storm’s 15th import, will wear the number 67 whilst at Storm, and you can Own & Loan his jerseys from 8:30pm TONIGHT!

Storm coach, Ryan Finnerty, is thrilled we’ve been able to sign a 15th import for the 17/18 season, commenting;

“I had the chance to watch Nate play when he was in Edinburgh. His ability to play forward and defence was something we wanted, which isn’t easy to find.  

Nate took a year off and helped coach UBC which I actually see as an asset. The view behind the bench changes the way you look at the game and gives you a new appreciation of how fortunate we are to be playing the game we love for a living.  

I expect Nate to come in and contribute whether that’s up front or on defence. He’s happy playing either position, and like I said players like that are hard to find.”
