Hey Storm fans,

PHEW!! I am extremely glad to say that we had a successful 4 point weekend!

Overall, our game really improved & the boys competed extremely hard across both games, which is all that we ever ask of our team.

On Saturday, we showed a lot of character coming back from a 4-1 deficit, to win the game. We had some great goals, hits & teammates backing each other up throughout the whole game. It was nice to see our PP click again, and guys laying the body on the line to block shots at key moments during the game. In the second period, the crowd really came together and pushed us to find that extra gear to make a comeback. You guys have no idea how our team feeds off you all when the Storm Shelter is rocking!

On Sunday, we played a smart, simple & effective road game. We didn’t force the play and we were patient all night. Dundee have been our real bogey team this year, so to break that duck & get 2 points on the road is a good accomplishment. It was great to see the guys having big smiles on their faces after a hard fought weekend.

This week, we will work hard in practice to prepare for the huge weekend coming up. We are aiming to keep the streak alive and to maintain the urgency in getting into the top 8 for playoffs! We’re most definitely on a #PlayOffPush!!
