STORM WELCOME D’AOUST TO MANCHESTER!
Manchester Storm are delighted to confirm the addition of Canadian forward Alexis D’Aoust, most recently of Fort Wayne Komets (ECHL).
The 28-year-old enters the Elite League with an extremely impressive resume. A product of the QMJHL major juniors, D’Aoust made 299 appearances for Shawinigan Cataractes raking up 241 points (113G 128A).
D’Aoust would make his professional debut for Utica Comets in 2017 and continue in the North American system until 2020, splitting his time between AHL and ECHL.
In 2020-21, the forward signed for HC Banska Bystrica in Slovakia for his first taste of European hockey. However, by 2021, D’Aoust was back lighting it up in the ECHL representing Trois-Rivieres Lions amassing 19 goals and 19 assists in 39 games.
In 2022-23, D’Aoust returned to European hockey sharing his time between Vasterviks IK of Sweden (Allsvenskan) and Eispiraten Crimmitschau of Germany (DEL2). The latter was extremely successful as the import produced 26 points (9G 17A) in 28 games.
Fort Wayne Komets came calling in the summer of 2023 and their acquisition proved to be a success when he added 44 points (20G 24) in 68 matches. A dynamic forward known for his offensive prowess and playmaking abilities everyone in the club are delighted to welcome Alexis D’Aoust to the squad.
