Manchester Storm are thrilled to announce the addition of forward Owen Griffiths, most recently of Guildford Flames. 

An exciting junior prospect, Griffiths debuted for his boyhood team Cardiff Devils in 2013, aged just 17. Several impressive junior seasons paved the way for his entry into professional hockey, and by 2016, Griffiths had found a home in Peterborough. 

A solid 2016-17 season saw Griffiths begin to make a name for himself within the second tier of British hockey. By 2018, a return to the EIHL with Milton Keynes Lightning presented itself to Griffiths, and he leapt at the opportunity. 

Since 2019, Griffiths has been a member of Guildford Flames and has produced several impressive performances against the Storm with his intelligent two-way game, earning the trust of his former Head Coach, Paul Dixon. 

The 27-year-old will be joining the club with 256 EIHL appearances to his name, and his addition is a signal of intent to operate four lines by our newly appointed Head Coach, Mike Flanagan.
