MANCHESTER STORM VS SHEFFIELD STEELERS  – LEAGUE FIXTURE – SATURDAY 13TH JANUARY 2024 @ 7PM – PLANET ICE ALTRINCHAM

Manchester Storm are back in action Saturday 13th January taking on Yorkshire rivals and league high flyers, Sheffield Steelers with league points up for grabs. This will be a very tough test for Head Coach Matt Ginn and the squad as Sheffield sit comfortably at the top of the standings, but The Storm will be looking to spoil the party for Aaron Fox and his men alongside getting revenge for the New Years Day defeat.

With less than 400 tickets remaining at time of writing, we’re anticipating another electric Saturday night crowd inside the Storm Shelter – Doors open 6PM for a 7PM start!

INJURY NEWS

Samual Tremblay remains day to day, but Head Coach Matt Ginn remains optimistic with a potential return pencilled in for Saturdays big fixture against Sheffield – we’ll bring you more updates on this later today. With Evan Weninger and Dallas Ehrhardt returning last weekend, there’s a high chance the squad will be at full strength for this weekends clash!

AS IT STANDS

The squad currently sit in 8th spot but the league table is tight, two wins could see The Storm propell into 5th place, which will certainly be a target of Head Coach Matt Ginn, who will be looking to build on his 6th placed finish during the 2023/24 Elite League season. Cheer the team on inside the Storm Shelter this Saturday as they look to build on Sundays away victory in Coventry with a victory in front of a huge home crowd!
