Saturday: Storm take hard fought point in Belfast after penalty shots
A courageous effort by the Storm saw them drop the decision, 3-2, after penalty shots.
The hosts weren’t made to wait for too long to open their account, as a costly defensive zone turnover enabled Belfast to score at the back door through Tedesco, just short of the fourth minute.

However, another scramble infront of the blue paint this time, at the other end of the ice, saw the Giants draw level quickly.
The game would remain tied throughout the remainder of regulation and overtime. It would take penalty shots to separate the two
