BREAKING | Linden Springer Is coming home for 2021/22 Elite League Season!
Manchester Storm are excited to announce the return of fan favourite Linden Springer!
The blueliner temporarily left the EIHL in 2020 to take-up a coaching role in his hometown with the Lloydminster Bobcats but will be heading back to Manchester for his third season in the city.
The hard-hitting style of Springer has seen him accrue 437 penalty minutes in his 154 EIHL appearances, but with a team-first mentality he has won the hearts of the Storm faithful.
The Canadian defenceman was part of the Patton Conference winning squad in 2018 and has produced 46 points (11G 35A) in his three-years within the Elite League.
Head Coach, Ryan Finnerty had this to say about the returning blueliner:
“This was kind of a deal that fell into place and didn’t take long to get done because parties desperately wanted to regroup in Manchester.
The fans know what Linden brings to the table and he has always loved the franchise. He left in 2019 and I know he is heading back to our shores hungry to make the best of this opportunity to rekindle his professional career.”
