Your Go Goodwins Manchester Storm snapped a four-game losing streak in a sensational game at the Storm Shelter this evening

Dallas Ehrhardt gave your Storm the lead after just 15 seconds, before a power-play goal from Matt Beca doubled the Storm’s advantage six minutes later. Manchester continued to excel with the man advantage, with Ryan Trenz adding another power play goal after 15 minutes before stand-in Captain Luke Moffatt made it 4-0 to the Storm just 8 seconds later as Finner’s side built a commanding lead throughout the opening 20 minutes.

However, the visiting Guildford Flames struck back in the second period, with Kruise Reddick getting them on the board in the 29th minute, before Team GB forward Liam Stewart added a second goal for the Flames less than a minute later.

Another goal from Stewart, on the power play this time, five minutes from the break left the game on a knifes edge for Storm, but despite the somewhat unconventional way each side had dominated a period each, neither was able to add to the score in the final frame, leaving your Go Goodwins Manchester Storm to claim the points.
