Weekend Preview – “Time to make History”

This Saturday the 3rd of October, your Go Goodwins sponsored Manchester Storm travel north of the border, to take one the Fife Flyers, before returning to the Storm Shelter on Sunday the 4th to do battle with rivals, the Nottingham Panthers.

Saturday see’s the Storm make a little bit of history as they take on the Fife Flyers for the first time ever. The Flyers, having won 4 and lost 3 of their opening 9 games this season look set to welcome the Storm into a sell-out arena!  Face-off is at 7:15.

If you’re not one of the lucky fans heading up to Fife to cheer the Storm on in person, fear not, as the 247.tv crew will be streaming the game live via the internet! Face-off is at 7:15pm with the pre-game show from 6:45pm. You can buy your pass now for the game at http://www.247.tv/eihl/. On Sunday we welcome Corey Neilson and his Nottingham Panthers to the Storm Shelter. The Panthers are yet to win on the road this season, but have posted some impressive victories against various teams at their home barn, the CapitalFM arena. The Storm however will be looking to replicate the same result as last weekend at the Shelter, where they won 4-1 over the Coventry Blaze. Face-off is 5pm, with doors open from 4pm. Free post game skating is available post game, and ends at 8pm.
