Your Go Goodwins sponsored Manchester Storm, play their final game of the preseason tonight, as part of the 4 Nations Showcase! Tonight they play against German team, Eispiraten Crimmitschau – 17:30 face-off time. 

Last night’s game against Tölzer Löwen resulted in a Storm victory at 1-3. It was a fairly clean game for the most part, with 30 penalty minutes overall, and not much difference in shots on goal, with 38 against Ginn and 33 against Meisner. Last night also saw Shane Bakker make his return to the Storm Shelter, going on to be awarded the Man of the Match.

ABOUT EISPIRATEN CRIMMITSCHAU

Like Tölzer Löwen, Eispiraten Crimmitschau are part of the DEL2 league, and play from Kunsteisstadion Crimmitschau stadium, which has a capacity of 5,222.

The team visit the Storm Shelter this Sunday with Head Coach, Kim Collins and Captain André Schietzold, who enters his tenth season with the club and fifth consecutive year as captain. 

Ones To Watch:  Carl Hudson, ex Milton Keynes Lightning, 38 points in 37 games last season.

André Schietzold, 194 points over nine seasons with the team.
