Last weekend saw another home win, as your Go Goodwins Manchester Storm beat the Flames 3-2 in thrilling game last Saturday!

This week sees the Storm face last season’s league league leaders and playoff winners, Cardiff Devils for the first time on home ice this season. On Sunday the Storm will then face Steelers away in Sheffield for a 4:00pm face-off.

CARDIFF DEVILS – SATURDAY 24TH NOVEMBER, 19:00PM FACE-OFF, PLANET ICE ALTRINCHAM

Having only faced each other once this season, the Devils take the trip over to the Storm shelter, for what is expected to be a highly competitive game.

Storm faced Devils short benched due to injury last month. This time around things are different and Storm will be doing everything they can in order to claim the two points at home.

The Devils are currently second in the league, having played 18 games, losing only four so far and totalling 27 points. It’s always a good game against Devils, so expect to witness a fast-paced, exciting and challenging game.

New players to the roster include, dual national forward, Charles Linglet, who has AHL and KHL experience, and Canadian forward Stephen Dixon. Earlier this month, defencemen Ben Blood left the club and the EIHL to go and ice for Tappara, in the Finnish league. Blood’s replacement is Canadian Drew Schiestel, who has AHL experience, icing for five teams including Hamilton Bulldogs and Texas Stars.

One to Watch:  Drew Schiestel – 2007 round 2 #59 overall by Buffalo Sabres
