Hailing from Ontario, the 6’2”, Canadian joins the Storm roster, after spending the Summer with AIHL team, Melbourne ice, where he totalled 27 points overall in 20 games.

No stranger to the EIHL, the 27 year-old, right-handed centre/winger also iced last season in Scotland for the Edinburgh Capitals. During the 2017/18 season with the club, Anderson totalled 40 points in 44 games, including 17 goals.

Previous teams for the 216lbs, forward include QMJHL side, Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, CJHL side, Gloucester Rangers and Orleans blues, plus four seasons when he attended Canada’s, Acadia University, where he played 101 games.

Head Coach, Ryan Finnerty is pleased to have signed Anderson, commenting;

“Dylan is a player I spoke to over the Summer but unfortunately, we couldn’t make anything work at the time. He is a talented player, and one who is familiar with the league. We are excited to welcome him to the Storm Shelter and I hope that our fans will give him a warm welcome on Sunday.”

Anderson will be wearing #19 on his jersey and own and loan jerseys will be available shortly. Be sure to keep updated with the club and OSC, social media to avoid disappointment.

Anderson will be arriving on time to play this weekends games in order to help cover player injuries and is keen to get started. Make sure you get a ticket for Storm’s home game against Glasgow Clan this Sunday, make him feel welcome and show him some support.
