HNIM

Great news for Manchester Storm fans as Vision TV have offered our weekly programme “Hockey Night In Manchester” a signing deal! Highlights, player interviews and fan reaction will be on the sports section of Freeview HD channel 244, online around the world and via the Sports Tonight App.

HNIM presenter Clare Freeman is delighted that what started out as a trial has now been picked up by other established sports journalists across the country. “We were overjoyed when Sports Tonight Live approached us, and were touched by their compliments on the quality of the programme. Naturally with more coverage, we hope to grow HNIM to include panel analysis and preview material. We’ll put all our efforts into making this the best possible programme for our fans and club.”

Nick Barnett, programme acquisition for Sports Tonight says “Our aim is to introduce new sports to the channel, which has been up and running for five years. We’re looking for people who already produce content but who would like to gain a bigger audience. Hockey Night In Manchester programmes are very well made and look great. We’re delighted to have the team on board from 2017.”

General Manager of the Manchester Storm, Neil Russell, has given his full support to Lime Grove Studios in this publicity deal: “Firstly, I want to thank Clare Freeman and Keith Jacobsen for their help in pushing this through for us. This is potentially huge coverage for the Storm, and that exposure is what every club yearns for across the EIHL. The superb highlights package that Lime Grove Studios produce for us on a weekly basis, has gained Storm the recognition that will now allow our brand to get pushed out even further to a wider audience, which is simply awesome. I cannot wait to see the programme when it starts in early January!”

Hockey Night In Manchester’s first programme on Sports Tonight TV will offer reaction to the New Year double header with Sheffield Steelers.
