TICKETS: The Go Goodwin’s Manchester Storm are back in action THIS coming Sunday 2nd April when we take on the Cardiff Devils in the FINAL home game of the season, the Playoff 1/4 Final! Faceoff is at 5:30pm and tickets can be ordered online, by calling the box office on 0161 926 8782, or in person at the Box Office!

This Sunday will see your Go Goodwins Manchester Storm take part in their first ever Elite League Playoff home game against the League/Challenge Cup/Ehrhardt Conference winners, the Cardiff Devils.

Not only is it a huge day for the Storm, but around the world people will be helping raise awareness for Autism, as Sunday April 2nd is #WorldAutismAwarenessDay, an internationally recognised event held on the same day each year, encouraging member states of the United Nations to take measures to raise awareness about children with autism throughout the world.

With it being such an important day for both the Storm & the world – we felt it only right to invite Ben Fletcher, who you might have read about in our latest blog (which you can read HERE), to come down do puck drop for the game!

GM Neil Russell had the following to say about asking young Ben to do the puck drop; “Ben’s story got me, it really did. I know it also got a lot of other people too. It is such an inspiring story about how Ben has struggled over the years with his autism but also adjusting to attending events with large crowds and loud noise. For him to feel so settled here at the Storm, to feel so comfortable and a part of the Storm family, makes me even prouder as to what we all have created here over the past two seasons. I hope Ben enjoys doing puck drop for us on Sunday, and that he cheers us onto victory up in the stands with all the rest of the fans too!”
