Heading into the weekend, we are excited to get some rest and have a full week of preparation to refocus on our league campaign.

Coming off nine games in 17 days has been tough on the players and staff. We are not where we want to be, but still very confident that we have a group that can achieve our goals. We are lacking in goals, not chances! We need some guys to find the back of the net. Scoring goals is a confidence thing and unfortunately the only way to find it, is to put pucks in the net. We are addressing that in practice and looking at ways to generate more offence as a five man unit.

Our fan base has been patient and I know they want more from us, and that’s our intentions here from the management down. I love my group, these guys work so hard and deserve success, we have applied pressure to get some wins and move up the table and my players understand the passion from our supporters. We need our fan support more than ever now. Sheffield on Sunday will be a great game. There is lots of history already this season and there’s not a lot of love lost there. I hope we can pack the Shelter and make it unbearably loud for our opponents. Get those flags waving and drums going from that first face off.👊🏻🏒💪🏻
