Your Go Goodwins Manchester Storm secured an 8th straight victory in the Elite League on Saturday night, as Luke Moffatt’s 3-point effort helped secure a 4-1 win in Milton Keynes.

Storm’s Andrew McKinney put the visitors ahead after just 75 seconds in the first period, before Moffatt and Mike Hammond combined to assist on a beautiful Ryan Trenz goal just over a minute later.

The Milton Keynes defense regained their composure after those early blows, but five minutes into the second period Storm found the net again, with Moffatt the scorer of what proved to be the lone goal of the period. Despite the lone goal, the action was intense with plenty of scuffles and heavy hits, as both sides looked to take control of the game

The American winger picked up a secondary assist on Dane Byers 54th minute goal as Manchester looked to wrap the game up, but a late Ben Foster goal provided the Lightning fans with something to cheer about.
