GAME PREVIEW: Henrik Samuelsson makes his weekend debut!

The Storm face visitors The Cardiff Devils this Saturday at home. On Sunday 17th they make their trip down South to play against the Guildford Flames for the first time this season.

Fans were greeted to a new signing this week, when the Storm announced recently signed NHL First Round Draft pick, Henrik Samuelsson. Read more about the club’s latest signing here.

Free Skate 

There will be a free skate following Saturday’s game. It is free with your own skates and only £2.50 for skate hire. 

Storm Sports 

Storm Sports have plenty of Storm merchendise to check out, from stocking fillers, to jerseys, hats and clothing. New in stock are the Storm Stadium Scarfs, which are perfect for Storm fans now it’s getting colder.

The Visitors 

This will be the second meeting between the two teams this season, and the first one on home ice for the Storm. 

On Tuesday, the Devils surprised everyone when they announced new signing, former NHLer, Shaone Morrisonn. The defenceman was a 2001 First Round pick in the NHL draft, selected 19th overall by the Boston Bruins. Morrisonn has experience in some of the world’s biggest league, including AHL, KHL and NHL.  

Morrisonn joins the EIHL from Oji Eagles, from the Asia League, also icing for the Croatia National Team in the World Championships Div 2, Group A.

  • Visit  the OSC stall to purchase 50/50 and Shirt off the Back tickets, also enter the match night “Chuck A Puck” competition or sign up to the Supporters Club for the season

Don’t miss the Manchester Storm v Coventry Blaze Challenge Cup play in game on Wednesday 20th November at Coventry Skydome. The game will air on FreeSports. Face-off is at 19:30.
