On Saturday 14th October at our home game against the Dundee Stars, your Go Goodwins Manchester Storm will once again take to the ice in pink jerseys to help raise funds for The Christie as we “Pink the Rink”!

The month of October is the International Cancer Awareness month, and since 2015, Manchester Storm has teamed up with The Christie, one of the largest cancer treatment centres in Europe, to help raise raise funds and support for the Manchester based centre.

Across the world, a pink ribbon symbolises cancer awareness, which is why Storm used the colour for its first “Pink the Rink” jersey in 2015, and again last October. See what happened last time:

This seasons limited edition “Pink the Rink” jerseys have once again been specially designed for the night, placing The Christie in prime location on the jersey.

Priced at £200 each, the 21 jerseys, which have sold out within 48 hours of launching the last 2 seasons, will be available to purchase by sending an email to competition@storm-office.com. The jerseys will be allocated on a first come, first served basis by the Storm office, and will go on sale from 8pm TONIGHT!

The successful applicant will be sent an invoice to their email address and immediate payment will be required. You will then be able to collect the jerseys straight after our #PinkTheRink game against the Dundee Stars on Saturday, 14th of October, with a photo taken with the player on the ice!

Storm will also be offering fans the chance to purchase a special edition pink t-shirt & hoodies, with all profits from the t-shirts donated to The Christie! The aim is for EVERYONE to wear pink on the night! T-shirts are priced at £15 for adults, £10 for children, and hoodies are £30 for adults & £25 for kids. These can only be purchased online by clicking HERE from 8pm tonight!
