PACHA WANTS TO IMPROVE STORM’S WORK ETHIC

SEASON TICKETS: The Go Goodwin’s Coaches sponsored Manchester Storm are pleased to announce that season tickets for the 2016/17 Elite Ice Hockey League season are now available to purchase. Season Tickets can be ordered online or by calling the box office on 0161 926 8782, or in person at the box office.

Manchester Storm player-coach Omar Pacha believes improving the team’s work ethic and commitment will reap big rewards next season.

After finishing in ninth place and missing out on the playoffs, Pacha is keen to make sure that doesn’t happen again.

“Last year I think at times we lacked that work ethic, we lacked that commitment, we lacked that extra jump and I don’t want to have that problem this year.”

“As of now everybody from last year is a possibility to come back, we just have to see what are the best options for our team.

“If it is a new player from outside the team from last year we will take him, if it is a guy I think will do us a job, then I will take him.”

Storm made great strides on and off the ice in their first season back in the Elite League and Pacha feels it is important for everyone at the club to buy into its vision for success.

“The overall mindset last year wasn’t as good as I hoped.   We have to increase the level of commitment from every single player, both the on ice work ethic and being part of the community and doing the little things right with our fans and doing the little things right with everyone involved at our club.”
