Manchester Storm Fixtures Release

It’s one of the most eagerly-anticipated dates of the summer with the fixtures now released for the 2015-16 Elite Ice Hockey League season.

Manchester Storm will begin their campaign with a trip to Cardiff Devils in the Challenge Cup on Saturday 5th September 2015.

The Storm are in Challenge Cup Group B with the Devils, Coventry Blaze, Nottingham Panthers and Sheffield Steelers.

The first home game for Manchester is the following night as Edinburgh Capitals are the visitors for an Elite League encounter (Sunday 6th September).

The following weekend sees Manchester make the trip to Northern Ireland to face Belfast Giants (Saturday 12th September), followed by a home game against Dundee Stars the following night.
Panthers visit the Storm for the first time on Sunday 4th October in the Challenge Cup, while the first visit of old rivals Sheffield takes place on Wednesday 28th October(Challenge Cup).
The festive season is sure to be exciting with the Panthers visiting on Sunday 20th December and the Storm host Fife Flyers on Sunday 27th December.
New Year’s Day is just about as perfect as you could get with Manchester entertaining the Steelers.
Storm will end the regular season with a home game against Cardiff on Saturday 19th March 2016, before a trip to Coventry Blaze on Sunday 20th March.
The playoffs will get under way the following week, with playoff finals weekend taking place at the National Ice Centre in Nottingham on 2nd and 3rd April 2016.

Storm’s home matches on a Saturday will face-off at 6:30pm, on a Sunday at 5pm and midweek at 7:30pm.
