Your Go Goodwins Manchester Storm are delighted to welcome former NHLer, Dane Byers, for the 2017/18 season on one of the clubs MBA places at the University of Salford!

The 31-year old, 6″3, 205lbs right winger, who has played 564 games in the AHL, as well as 14 games in the NHL, spent last season in the DEL with Kölner Haie.

Storm Coach, Ryan Finnerty, had the following to say about signing Byers;

“I’m delighted with the signing of Dane, who’s a big power forward! Dane can play on any line, and will contribute! He’s a natural leader, having been a Captain on four different AHL teams, and has 3 seasons worth of European experience. I’m excited to work with Dane, and we thank the University of Salford for making this partnership happen!“
