EHRHARDT: EVERY GAME A BIG GAME

TICKETS: The Go Goodwin’s Manchester Storm are back in action on Saturday 4th February as we face the Coventry Blaze in EIHL action. Faceoff is at 7 pm and tickets can be ordered online, by calling the box office on 0161 926 8782, or in person at the box office!

Manchester Storm defenceman Dallas Ehrhardt says every game is a big one when you get to this stage of the season.

It’s seventh versus eighth when Omar Pacha’s side host Coventry Blaze on Saturday as either team looks to strengthen their play-off credentials.

And Ehrhardt reckons the four point weekend last week from wins over Dundee Stars and Edinburgh Capitals has given them some confidence ahead of Saturday’s clash.

“Coventry is a big one for us when you look at the standings,” Ehrhardt said. “We both know it’s big game and we want to move up the standings.

“But they’re a tough team to play against as they come hard.  We just have to make sure we’re ready to play the full 60 minutes.

“It’s at that time of the season where every game coming up is our biggest game of the year and this one is no different.

“The four point weekend was big for us and it gives us some confidence going into this weekend.  We really need to start loosening the guys up as we head into this final stretch.

“After the disappointment of the three games in Scotland and only taking a point, we were getting the chances but may not have been bearing them down or going as hard to them.

“Last week, when we had chances we made sure and took them, but we need the points to make that push for the play-offs.”
