DiDiomete Delay Disappointment

Devin DiDiomete’s Manchester Storm debut has once again been postponed following a delay in the signing off with his move to the Elite League by the Slovakian Federation.

The Slovakian authorities still hold DiDiomete’s International Transfer Card because he had been playing for HC Banska Bystrica prior to his move to the Storm. Until that is released, he is not allowed to play for another club.

Storm General Manager Neil Russell admits it has been a frustrating time, “We have been doing everything in our power to resolve this problem because we want Devin on the ice and in a Storm jersey.”

“We have been working very closely with Andy French at Ice Hockey UK and we are confident we will get a resolution to this quickly.  Coach Pacha wants to add a character player and the sooner DiDiomete is in our line-up, the better.” Russell added.

Manchester Storm’s next home game in on Sunday 8th November against Belfast Giants, face-off is 5pm.
