It was 19 years ago to the day that the then All:Sports sponsored Manchester Storm, broke the British ice hockey attendance record when 17,245 fans crammed into the Nynex Arena (Currently the Manchester Arena) to see the Storm thrash local rivals, the Sheffield Steelers 6-2!
